Migrate to AWS with the credits to cover it

No, and neither can anyone else. All credit decisions are made by AWS. We assess whether an application is worth making, prepare it properly and track it to a written decision. Any party that guarantees an amount is telling you something they cannot know.

No. A published maximum is a ceiling on what anyone might be considered for. Actual approvals vary widely and some applications are declined entirely. We will give you a realistic read on your position before you invest time in the paperwork.

No. They are unrelated numbers. Projected spend is what you will pay AWS. Credits are what AWS may decide to give back, based on their own criteria. Treating one as a predictor of the other is the most expensive mistake we see.

No. They are separate programmes with separate criteria, separate reviewers and separate outcomes. Qualifying for one tells you nothing about the other, and we submit and track them independently.

Often, yes. AWS POC funding pays for part of a short, scoped test of one workload on AWS. There is no public form: an AWS Partner at Select tier or above, such as Alventara, submits the request and AWS approves it before work starts. Nothing. You complete the intake, we assess your infrastructure, spend and funding position, and tell you what is realistic. Chargeable work starts only after you have approved a written scope and estimate.

It depends entirely on scope. A single application with a small database can move in weeks; a multi-workload estate with compliance constraints takes months. The timeline you receive at step four has calendar dates, including the parts that depend on AWS rather than on us.

Yes, if your costs are unclear or you have never checked your Activate position. Cost forecasting works just as well as a review of an existing estate, and Activate eligibility does not require a migration.

None for the assessment. For migration work we ask you to create a scoped IAM role with permissions agreed in writing, which you can revoke at any time. We never ask for passwords, access keys or MFA codes.
